All animals bagged in the last 3 years
have been CWD tested with all tests being negative.
All animals being shot will have the CWD test done
once the hunt is completed. All permits for
hunts including export permit, CFA documentation, private vet certification and Sask Ag permits are included in pricing.
However, U.S. Hunters must apply for a permit
from the USDA site

Elk Hunting
 Elk
are incredibly powerful and awesome creatures.
They are the most majestic of the deer species, and in
our opinion the most exciting and challenging hunt you
can go on. If you have ever heard an elk bugle you
know what I’m talking about and if you haven’t your
missing the thrill of a lifetime. We have bulls
ranging from 280" - 456"+ class animals, thanks
to over 18 years of selective breeding. Elk
hunts are conducted using bale blinds, and
calling during rut. You may see some of our Bulls in
the past as well as currently available hunt bulls on
our Hunt Bulls Section of the website.
For the actual hunts we have two locations to serve you better depending on
your taste for the hunt.
Location 1: Estate Hunting at the Wild Rose
Ranch - GUARANTEED HUNT!
Need a 100% guarantee of an animal, then hunt from our
managed ranch home location. Call the animal from a
blind location only. No daily hunt fee, only the
value of the animal. Hunter is responsible for
their own skinning and butchering, heated shop
provided in inclement weather.
Location 2: For A Challenge!
Up for the challenge of the great outdoors then choose
to hunt from our second location. Hunting is
$300.00 per day in this beautiful treed area. Minimum
of 3 days per booking. There is no guarantee of
bagging an animal. Value of animal is
additional upon completion of hunt. Skinning and butchering
is included in this package.
Bison Hunting

1- 15 year old $5,500 US
 There
is nothing like facing a 2500 lb Bison Bull.
Powerful and Fierce are the best way to describe these
native plainsman animals. We have a limited number
of Bison Hunts available each year for those hunters that
book Elk Hunts as well. Bison are available on a
first come first serve basis only and subject to
availability. Bulls are rated as average and priced
at $2,000 with additional charges
 dependant on the quality
of the bull. Please inquire for exact pricing and
availability.

Upland Birds & Waterfowl Hunts
 The
goose shoots are pre-spotted by our experienced host
and located in pea, barley or wheat fields. Because of
our location, our relationship with the local farmers,
and low hunting pressure, the birds that settle in
these fields are not disturbed. The shoot is set up
using your decoys. The
shooting is incredible! Imagine hearing the wings of
the Greater Canada Geese beating as their landing gear
comes down and they settle into the dikes providing 10
to 40 yard shooting on these majestic birds. We also
have fantastic gunning for Snow Geese and White
fronted (specklebellies). Upland
Birds and Waterfowl Hunts can be arranged.
 Your
hunting scout Arnold Elliott will show you all the
great migratory pathways where the best hunting
occurs. With over 30 years experience in upland
bird and Waterfowl hunts in the area, Arnold knows all
those secret locations. All upland birds and
waterfowl hunts are non-guided.

Fishing
 Here at Wild Rose Elk
Ranch we have our very own Trout Pond for year round
access. Why Rainbow Trout? Well, rainbow
trout are an attractive game fish, that strike
aggressively, fight valiantly and are an angler's joy.
Rainbows have
adapted well, moving in and out of the Great Lakes of
Canada much as they would the ocean. As might be
expected, they range widely throughout the fresh water
supplies of the Canadian North.
Rainbow trout seldom swim deeper than 35 feet, and
they grow 30-32 inches long and may reach 16 pounds by
the time they are five years old. We have caught 11
and 12 pounders right at the ranch. You won't
want to miss the opportunity to catch some of these
beauties while visiting.
Rainbow trout are $5.50
per lb from the ranch location and are only available
during the late September / October hunt bookings.
Personalized north
fishing expeditions available from mid May till end of
July each year. Trip starting at $450.00 per
day. (does not include food or beverages)
Some late fall bookings will also be available.
You will be traveling in a 4x4 diesel powered 4 door
crew cab and pulling a 27 1/2 ft fifth wheel and boat
on a 10 day tour. (Maximum of 2 people per
booking)

Photo Safaris
 For
those that prefer to use a camera there is ample
opportunity to take pictures of wild life at the
ranch, especially our majestic Elk.
Accommodations
Lodging is available at
nearby local hotels or $60.00 per person per night
available at the ranch. These are Bachelor hunts, you
have access to our kitchen to prepare meals.
Guests at the ranch are encouraged to bring their own
favorite beverages. A selection of Elk and Bison
meat is available for the cooking or fresh Trout if
you happen to have a catch of the day!. (Max
space available for 4 people, so book early)
